Creator Payouts Policy

In an effort to reward Core Creators for their content creations prior to implementing a more comprehensive payout program, Manticore Games, Inc. (“Manticore”) is initiating a pilot program for payouts (the “Payout Program”) for certain eligible Core creators.

Beginning on July 1, 2020 and until such time as Manticore ends this Payout Program, Manticore will send Payout Program invitations to Creators based on a minimum average number of Daily Active Users (DAU) (as determined by Manticore in its sole discretion) of their creations (in the aggregate) during a given calendar month.

To be eligible to receive a Payout Program invitation, Creators must 1) provide Manticore with a valid, verified email address and legal name, 2) be a Core account holder in good standing and in compliance with Manticore’s Terms of Service (which are incorporated herein, collectively the “Terms”), and 3) meet the threshold criteria of average DAU in a calendar month (for example, an average of 50 DAU across all Creator games during that calendar month).

Each calendar month, Manticore will send any newly eligible Creators an invitation to create an account with Tipalti (see more information on Tipalti below). At various times during the calendar month, Manticore will email eligible Creators with updated DAU information for that month. On the last day of each calendar month during the Payout Program, Manticore will set the threshold DAU number required for Payout Program participation for that month, review and calculate the average monthly DAU per Creator, and calculate the estimated payout amount for each eligible Creator. Manticore will send a summary report of average monthly DAU and estimated payout amount to each eligible Creator via email and payments will be processed through Tipalti. Please allow approximately two (2) weeks for your eligibility to be reviewed and any related payment to be processed.

Manticore reserves the right to review account activity and to deny eligibility, invitation, or payout to any Creator who we determine has violated our Terms, the law, or the spirit of our Payout Program or Core.

Suspicious activity or inaccuracies in the information submitted to Manticore and/or Tipalti can result in processing delays or can result in your eligibility being denied. Denials can occur for multiple reasons; common reasons include failure to complete account registration or submit tax forms on the Tipalti portal, or violations of our collective Terms of Service (including but not limited to scamming, leveraging bots, account theft, suspicious activity, or any illegal or unethical activities). Please note that if your request is rejected for a Terms of Service violation, we will not be able to provide specific details on why it was rejected. Approval of a payment in the past is not a guarantee of future eligibility or that future payments will be processed.

While having a minor infraction in your past account history does not necessarily disqualify you for the Payout Program, there are certain particularly egregious violations that can result in your disqualification from the Payout Program regardless of the timing of the infraction.

Manticore has teamed up with Tipalti, a third-party payment processor, to process Payout Program payments for eligible Creators. Once you have received a Payout Program invitation from Manticore, you will be sent an invitation to create an account with Tipalti. It can take up to seven (7) days for you to receive the Tipalti portal invitation.

You will be asked to complete and submit a tax form through Tipalti’s online portal. Please do not email your tax form or other sensitive personal information to Manticore. The individual on the Tipalti portal account should be the same one whose name and information is on the Payout Program, any tax form you submit, and any associated bank account or payment method.

Your Tipalti account will be subject to Tipalti's Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Notwithstanding anything in these Terms to the contrary, in the event of any conflict between these Terms and Tipalti’s Terms of Use, Tipalti’s Terms of Use shall control. Accordingly, you should review and understand Tipalti’s Terms of Use carefully before registering or using any payment-related feature. As described above, establishing and maintaining your account (and including your associated Tipalti account) in good standing is a prerequisite for the Payout Program. If either your Core or your Tipalti account is terminated, you may lose eligibility and access to payments through the Payout Program. If you participate in the Payout Program, you acknowledge and agree that you are aware of, and agree to accept, this possible risk.

Once you have completed registration for the Tipalti portal, you will not receive further invitations or be asked to re-register for future months if you are eligible for a payout during a subsequent calendar month.

Payments are calculated and remitted in U.S. Dollars by default. Tipalti offers multiple payment methods including ACH, PayPal, wire transfer, checks, etc. Some payment methods may not be available in your country of residence. You will be able to see the payment methods available to you once you sign up for a Tipalti account.

When you are selecting your payment method and currency on your Tipalti account, you will also be able to see the fees that may be deducted based on your selected payment method and for any currency conversion. You are responsible for paying relevant fees associated with your payment method and selected currency.

The information that you provide is used to ensure that all payments comply with applicable laws and regulations. Please ensure that you update your Tipalti portal information if it changes. Please note that discrepancies between your Core account and Tipalti portal information can result in processing delays or the decline of your eligibility.
