Lazy Minting NFTs is when an NFT is available off-chain and only gets minted once a sale takes place. This means that the artist does not have to pay any upfront fees to mint their NFTs, essentially paying the fees only once the token is purchased. You can do this entirely for free
Minting refers to the process of taking a digital asset such as digital art and placing it on the blockchain. Once the asset is minted to the blockchain, it can then be traded on the best NFT marketplaces, allowing you to monetize your creation.
1) Create an image and it must be saved as a JPG and less than 10 MB in size. If you use SVG images you will not see them appear in Core.
2) Go to opensea.io
3) Sign into your account and connect your MetaMask wallet to Core
4) Once in your account you can see all of the NFTs you might have already purchased.
5) Click Create and that will open up a pop-up for you to select and sign the terms and services. This will pop up every 24 hours for users to re-authenticate and resign.
6) Select Sign then you will be taken to this screen where you can create your new item.
7) Upload the image you created and that you want to use. Please note the image must be a JPG and less than 10 MB in size. If you use SVG images you will not see them appear in Core.
8) Then give your image a name.
9) You don't need to fill anything else out.
10) If it an Explicit and Sensitive Content, you can flag it here, but this would deny it to go into Core.
11) Select Create.
12) It will then ask that you are a human to complete the CAPTCHA to continue.
13) You will then see a confirmation message saying you created that image.
14) It takes a couple of minutes for it to transact across the chain and will appear with your other NFT's.
15) Now go into Core and log in.
16) Go to your Avatar Creation and start customizing.
17) Click on NFT Enabled then select your image. If you do not see this option it means you need to connect your MetaMask Wallet to your Core account.
18) Then select your NFT image and you can edit it and make it larger, horizontal and vertical. You can also change your profile picture with your NFT image.
