There has been an overhaul to the player character Avatar creation system where you will now be able to redesign your own Avatar.
Here is what to expect
When you launch Core you will enter into the new Avatar Designer! As part of this update, existing favorite character selections will be reset. However, you’ll be able to recreate all previous combinations with the new system and even improve the outfits you’ve come to love. Existing characters in your library will now be available as separate pieces to be used with the new cosmetic slots. You aren’t losing any items you already own. The new Avatar Designer gives you more flexibility to express yourself and become who you want to be in the Core Metaverse.
The prominent features of the new system include:
- Being able to mix-and-match different body pieces from different characters
- More in-depth color customizations overall and per piece
- The ability to randomize cosmetic loadouts
- The ability to "strike a pose" while designing your character
