Gratuitous Profanity and/or Vulgarity

Let’s face it - gaming and trash-talking have best buds ever since Pong graced the arcades back in 1972. Or was it the Philips Magnavision that first took the virtual ping-pong crown? Regardless, a bit of healthy banter amongst friends can be fun, but taking it above the healthy marker goes against Core’s Code of Conduct.

In regards to gratuitous profanity and/or vulgarity in Core, the following will not be permitted:

  • Profanity or vulgarity without context.
  • Composed exclusively of profane or vulgar words/language.
  • Profanity or vulgarity in excess of what would be permitted under a standard “teen” rating (up to age 17).
  • Violates Core’s policies on violence, graphic content, overtly sexual content, discrimination or hateful content, or others.

We are on Core to play, share, and create incredible experiences, many of which have never existed before. We expect all Core users – both creators and players – to abide by our Code of Conduct.

If you find another member that may be breaking a rule, here’s a guide on how to report them
